Ancient City Poets

PictureThe Waterworks is flowing with culture.
Let your poetic words flow through the Waterworks and through the streets of our arts community.

Ancient City Poets invite you to share your original poetry. It will be an open theme, so anything goes. Show us what you've got. Share your polished poems or bust out some fresh ink from your notebook during St. Augustine, Florida’s longest-running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three.

The Ancient City Poets series has always been open to the public. There is no charge at the door and no charge to get your name on the list to read.

If you would like to share a poem, please see the facilitator at 2:30 to get your name on the list, on the day of the event. There is space for 15 poets at 5 minutes each. At 3:00 PM, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.
